This simple and brief tutorial is going to show you how to install Vuze 5.0.0.0 in Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail.
Vuze (formerly Azureus) is a BitTorrent protocol client that offers multiple torrent downloads, queuing/priority systems (on torrents and files), start/stop seeding options, and instant access to numerous pieces of information about your torrents.
Vuze is available in Ubuntu Software Center by default, but it’s old. The latest version has reached 5.0.0.x, and here’s list of the changes:
Hit “Ctrl+Alt+T” to open terminal, copy and paste following commands and run one by one:
Download & Install the DEB to add GETDEB repository:
